The Zone Calls Me

I'm like a wanderer, adrift in a sea of uncertainty. The echoes of my own depression resonate within, a constant reminder of the battles fought in the solitude of my mind. But within that darkness, within that endless maze of thoughts, there's a calling, a pull that I can't ignore.

The Zone. It's more than a physical place; it's a state of mind, a realm where the boundaries between the known and the unknown blur like watercolors on a canvas. It's a place that both terrifies and beckons, promising a glimpse into the innermost chambers of my desires. A sanctuary, perhaps, where I can lay down the burdens that have grown heavy with time.

The story in this photo series is based on a first-person perspective from my dad, who struggles with Alzheimer’s.
